Hey, y'all! It's been a hot minute since I've shared anything here on the blog. I've been busy with work and being mom, so I haven't had much time to devote to my blog, which makes me sad. Creating projects doesn't take a ton of time, but photographing those projects, editing photos, writing a blog post and adding all the links does. I'd rather devote that time to having fun with my little man. But this week while he was with his grandparents, my house was clean, and I actually had some time to create, photograph, and blog. I was so excited! Today I'm thrilled to show you one of those projects: a hand-lettered Valentine's Day t-shirt that I made for my little man. Today I'm sharing the FREE cut file with you so that you can make one of your own. (Don't worry if you're a girl mom because I have a t-shirt design for girls too!)
My little man's shirt started as a plain, inexpensive raglan tee from Hobby Lobby. I cut the hand-lettered design from some fun heat transfer vinyl from Expressions Vinyl using my Silhouette. I used Easy Weed Heat Transfer Vinyl in Black and Red and Buffalo Plaid- Red Patterned Heat Transfer Vinyl. I am obsessed with all the new patterned vinyl from Expressions Vinyl, and I LOVE the way the Buffalo Plaid looks on this tee!
I adore making personalized t-shirts for my son. If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably seen some of the other designs I've made him for different holidays. I knew I wanted to make him a tee for Valentine's Day, so I created this hand-lettered design using my iPad Pro. Once I finished the design, I realized that if I shared it on the blog, I'd be leaving out the little girls, so I created a "Daddy is my Valentine" design too. I'm sharing the SVG files for my Cricut-using friends and the Silhouette files for my fellow Cameo users. Please note that the Silhouette file links below will say "No Preview Available," but you can still download the files by clicking the blue "download" button.

***As with all my freebies, the files above are for personal use only. If you'd like to share the design with a friend, please send them the link to this post so that they can download from here. Thanks so much!
Stay tuned for a couple more FREE Valentine cut files I'll be sharing soon. Happy crafting!
Congratulations on becoming a mom! That is so exciting. I had wondered where you had gone! Are you still teaching or do you get to stay home? Blessings to you and your family. Kim in Austin, Tx.
