Hey, y'all! Today I'm participating in a fun series hosted by Emily of Nap Time Creations called the Summer Fun Series. Throughout the summer, bloggers are teaming up with Emily to share projects and ideas great for kids. I haven't been blessed with kids yet, but I still wanted to participate, so my contribution is something that I think is good for all ages, from kids to the kids-at-heart: a hand-lettered Bible verse printable that doubles as a coloring page.
Here in South Carolina, it gets REALLY hot and humid during the summer, and some days it's best to stay inside where it's cool if you can. On those days, I'm sure parents have a hard time keeping kids occupied, so I hope that this coloring sheet will occupy the kids for at least a little while.
I gave a copy of the sheet to my niece, and she enjoyed coloring the stars the most.
I love that since the coloring page features a verse from Psalms, it helps kids who can read meditate on God's Word while they're coloring.
You can download your copy of the free printable HERE. It's a PDF file that fits on regular printer paper. You can print as many copies as you'd like, but please note that this printable is for personal use only. Of course, I don't mind you making multiple copies to use at vacation Bible school or at school if you teach in a Christian school, but commercial use is prohibited.
If you'd like more summer fun inspiration for your kiddos, check out these other projects that are part of the Summer Fun Series today.

I have to say that I kind of want to try out that Foamy Fun myself. I hope a couple of the ideas caught your eye as a way to spend time with your children enjoying summer together. Happy crafting!
