Hey, y'all! I'm excited to be back to blogging today after my Christmas hiatus. I didn't really intend on taking as long of a break as I did, but I kept pretty busy without blogging, and, well, everyone needs a break every now and then, right? I hope y'all had a great break as well! Today I want to share an easy DIY earring tutorial with you.
I love making simple jewelry, and these are about as simple to make as you can get. To make these you need very few supplies: two sets of small, medium, and large hoops; two jump rings big enough to hold all the hoops; and two earring hooks.
To create an earring, open one of your jump rings. Put three of the hoops and the earring wire on the jump ring. Close the jump ring, and simple as that, you have an earring. Repeat for the other earring, and you're done.
I told you they were very simple to make!
I made these and a pair of my simple silver earrings as Christmas gifts for a relative, and she loved them. It's often the jewelry that's the easiest to make that ends up being the prettiest, so if you've never tried your hand at jewelry making, give these a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the outcome.
Very nice, love simplicity, the shiney is great. Wonderful jewelry idea. Seems like they'd be fairly inexpensive to make, think two teenage grand daughters would love these. Next time I'm in craft store I'll be looking out for the supplies. Great post . Glad you had a good break, you deserve it. Sometimes other things like your family, friends deserve to come first before your blog.
I completely agree that sometimes the simplest jewelry ends up being the prettiest. I would wear these earrings every day! ~Kelsy http://looseendscraftblog.com
